Suzy's Beach Get Away is the best place we have stayed out of the 4 years we have been coming to South Beach. The room and hotel are both very accomadating. This condo is also great because it has a pool and backs up right to the beach!

we cant say enough about our stay at Susy's. the owners treated us like guests and friends and not renters-it was easy to see that the care they put into their place revolved around comfort-we left there well rested and rejuvinated. you dont need a car since the location is perfect! right on the beach-so you can take the boardwalk down to ocean ave-or down collins to lincoln road. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Susy's. don't hesitate! we are coming back. Thanks so much for the great stay!

We have had a wonderful time using your studio. Its been perfect in every way. I must mention the towels, so soft and fluffy! ..We loved the tiled floor!

Believe me after staying in other hotels 3 years ago to have a clean place to stay has been a joy. We have slept like logs...The shower is fantastic pressure also.

We are sad to be going home later today but hope to come again one day. Everything has gone so smoothly from our first email contact. You are very prompt in answering all our questions. Thank you again."

"I’ve stayed at Susy’s Beach Getaway condo at the Shelborne for one whole week for two years in a row now. It’s wonderful! The hotel is 2 blocks away from the convention center and RIGHT on the beach. I woke up every morning and watched the sun rise over the water. It’s amazing. The beach is just out the back door past the landscaped pool. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful but nothing made me feel more comfortable than Max and Susy, the condo owners. They have made a lovely respite for the weary (from work or fun) traveler. Two super comfy beds, tons of towels, beach towels and umbrella, fridge, coffee maker, icemaker—they’ve thought of everything. I love it and I’m going back. I have to recommend this place as great!"

"Once again we stayed at at Susy's Beach Getaway and we had a wonderful time. This privately owned studio in the Shelborne Beach Resort is clean, comfortable and so close to everything you would want! I highly recommend the studio and you will have the time of your life! Any special requests? Just ask Max and Sue and they will take care of everything...We stayed in November this year...the weather was wonderful...not too hot like last year in October but the days were warm and time spent on the beach was pleasant!

"My husband and I stayed at Max and Susy's place for 3 nights in November. We had a hard time finding the right place on the beach until I found Susy's beach getaway online. We were also looking for a place for my sister and her friend and Max and Susy were able to refer us to another studio in the same building. They were extremely helpful with my many, many questions before our stay. They went above and beyond and made it their concern to make sure we had everything and that we knew where to go to have fun. This was our first trip to Sobe and we could not have had a better time, thanks to them.
When we arrived, Susy was there to greet us and show us around. The room was great, clean and comfortable and they provided us with all the necessities (beach towels, chairs, a cooler, fridge and even an ice maker!) If we had a question, we gave them a call and they were very helpful.
The location can not be beat! It is right on the beach and walking distance to everything.
We are extremely thankful to Max and Susy for all their help and hospitality and we will definately stay there again!"

"We stayed at Susy's Beach Getaway http://susysbeachgetaway.com/ February 13-18, 2008.
I was initially concerned staying somewhere other than a big chain hotel but from the moment I initiated contact with Max and Susy I knew I had made the right decision. Everything pertaining to communication, questions, and checking in and out was extremely efficient. When we arrived at the resort we couldn't have been more pleased. It was right in the heart of South Beach on Collins Avenue. Situated right on the beach in the beautiful Shelborne Resort! The room was clean and bright with a large window.
The water pressure in the bathroom, cleanliness, and room temperature was beyond perfection.
Restaurants, shopping, and the beach were a few steps away. I never needed a cab.
I would definitely return without hesitation and will offer my email address to anyone who has any questions.
Thank you Max and Suzy for providing a great place to stay! Top of the food chain!

"Hi Max & Susan,

Thank you so much for your adorable little condo in South Beach. We could not have been more pleased with Susy's Beach Getaway! The beds were incredibly comfortable and fitted with soft sheets, the air conditioning worked like a charm, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the extra little touches like snacks and beach towels were really thoughtful. The location of the Shelborne is fantastic (two blocks from the convention center) and the room is quiet at night for sleeping, considering all of the action and nightlife going on around the resort.

Everything ran smoothly from our very first email contact to checking in, checking out, and getting our security deposit back. We felt very well taken care of the whole time. We will definitely be in touch if we come to South Beach again.

"I stayed in this room owned by max and susy lopez at the shelborborne resort. They were very gracious. The room was clean and everything we needed was right there. The ice maker came in very handy. The beds were so comfortable and the location is pretty much close to everything from the clubs, restautants and even the Walgreens :). i will definately stay with them again. the rates were extremely reasonable and i would like to thank them for a wonderful and fun stay in South beach.

It is in the heart of the South Beach and close to many cool shops and posh nightclubs. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Our room was GREAT. Suzy and Max Lopez took care of everything. They gave great advice on parking, food and other interesting sites to visit. The room had everything we needed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, water filter, ice maker and even chairs, towels and cooler for the beach. No hotel has that for use, free of charge. Our stay was great, our room was comfortable and clean and we had so much fun, we had to force ourselves on the plane and back to reality. We had a great stay and we'll be back soon. Thanks for everything!

"lliked the privately owned Studio “Susy's Beach Getaway" - so much. The unit at the Shelborne is privately owned and can be rented through Max and Susan. The studio was Clean and the owners Max and Susan were great!! They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was a pleasant one. They provided all the amenities of a five star hotel. The room is comfortable and attractive equipped for a awesome vacation experience. It is conveniently located to a great pool and beach. The Shelborne is a great location.
